Community Guidelines

Mjolo Hub is a place to meet new people, and that only works when everyone feels safe and respected. These Community Guidelines explain what we expect from every member and what is not allowed. They apply to your profile, your messages, video and audio, and to how you treat people you meet through Mjolo Hub, on and off the app.

By using Mjolo Hub you agree to these guidelines, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. Breaking them can lead to a warning, content removal, or your account being banned. Where we believe someone is in danger or a crime has been committed, we work with law enforcement.

Be yourself

  • Use recent photos of you. Every photo must show you, be recent, and not be a stock image, a celebrity, an AI-generated face or someone else.
  • Be honest about who you are. Your name, age and details should be your own. Impersonating a real person, a brand or an organisation is not allowed.
  • One person, one account. Accounts are personal and cannot be shared, sold or run on behalf of someone else. Making a new account after a ban is not permitted.

Be respectful

  • Treat people the way you want to be treated. Unwanted sexual messages, insults, threats, bullying and repeated contact after someone has said no are harassment and will get you removed.
  • No hate speech. Content that attacks or demeans people because of their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or appearance is banned.
  • Get consent before you send it. Do not send nude, sexual or intimate images to anyone who has not asked for them, and never share someone else's intimate images.
  • Keep other people's information private. Do not post or share anyone's phone number, address, workplace, identity documents, financial details or private messages without their permission.

Be safe

  • Keep conversations on Mjolo Hub until you trust someone. Scammers push to move to other apps quickly.
  • Never send money or share banking, card, ID or password details, no matter how convincing the story is. Asking members for money, gifts, airtime or investments is banned.
  • Meet in public, tell a friend where you are going, and arrange your own transport for a first date.
  • Report and block. If someone makes you uncomfortable, tap Report on their profile or in the chat. Reports are confidential and reviewed by our Trust and Safety team.

What is not allowed

  • Nudity and sexual content. No nude, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive photos, videos, bios or prompts. This includes underwear, lingerie and bathroom photos that focus on the body.
  • Violence and harm. No content that threatens, promotes or glorifies violence, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, weapons or dangerous acts.
  • Minors. Mjolo Hub is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. Photos of minors are not allowed, even with an adult, and any sexualised content involving a minor is reported to the authorities immediately.
  • Prostitution and trafficking. Offering, advertising, arranging or soliciting sexual services, sugar arrangements or transactional relationships is banned.
  • Scams, spam and fraud. No fake profiles, romance scams, catfishing, phishing links, cryptocurrency or investment pitches, or bulk and copy-pasted messages.
  • Promotion and solicitation. Mjolo Hub is not for advertising. No selling products or services, recruiting followers, promoting businesses, events, adult content sites, political campaigns or research studies.
  • Drugs and illegal activity. No buying, selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons or any other illegal goods, services or activities.
  • Copyright and trademarks. Only post content you own or have permission to use.
  • Automation and third-party tools. Bots, scrapers, auto-swipers, modified apps and any attempt to get around our systems are not allowed.
  • Off-platform behaviour. Abuse, violence or crimes against someone you met on Mjolo Hub count even if they happened on another app or in person.

How we enforce these guidelines

Our team reviews reports, and our systems look for behaviour that breaks these rules. Depending on what happened we may remove content, restrict features, warn you, or ban your account without a refund. Serious cases, including anything involving minors, threats or violence, are reported to law enforcement. If you think we got a decision wrong, contact support and we will take another look.

Report a concern

Tap the three dots or the shield icon on any profile or conversation to report or block someone. For urgent safety concerns email [email protected]. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
